About Us
Naomi Barbour is married to Alfred Barbour and has one son, Matt. Naomi bought her two salons in 1979. One in Lewistown and one in State College. She employs 18 people. Naomi and most of her staff attend at least two major hair shows a year. They also sharper their skills regularly with videos and online classes. Naomi likes to try new things and maintain a "rules are for breaking" attitude. She is always eager to try new cuts and styles.
As far as the atmosphere of the salon goes it all starts with Naomi. She has great relationships with her staff, treats them like family and that feeling permeates throughout. A few years ago she broke her arm and out of shear boredom she found that she loves art. She has been featured at Penn State's art gallery and had great success in the retail market with her work!
